Detroit Red Wings was founded 1926 but back then the team was named Detroit Cougars. In 1930 the team was renamed to Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings has won Stanley Cup eleven times, 1935-36, 1936-37, 1942-43, 1949-50, 1951-52, 1953-54, 1954-55, 1996-97, 1997-98, 2001-02, 2007-08. Their home arena is Little Caesars Arena and has capacity of 19,515 spectators and the Red Wings are also one of the Original Six teams.
